reTHINK: door
So, now that I have a house, I am always looking for nifty, unique ideas to inspire me. Well, I ran across this, and how cool is that door? Yes,...it slides over the door frame and back. HOW COOL! ( Of course, I have no appropriate door to do that to in my house, but still... )

nifty building

Well, I will let the architect, Klein Dytham, explain his own work:
“Façade becomes image – image becomes façade. Suddenly the possibilities multiplied. We might have been hired to build a building, but now we could pretend to plant trees! We used a strong, simple image of a bamboo grove stenciled in white onto the glass façade, and painted the back wall bright green. By day, the graphic becomes a striking and simple form of sun-shading; by night green light dapples over the intersection – a luminous bamboo plantation in the heart of the metropolis”.
Cool.

healthy packaging?
So maybe it is because I am married to a med student, but I am all about healthy lifestyles, and practical healthy life options. (Not that I fully apply such measures in my life, but I am supportive. However, my husband does and I admire and support him in that.)So, I like this packaging because it is designed to help apply healthy options. The concept is to replace the standard cereal box with a lid which doubles as a portion control device. (found here)
