I have been eagerly decorating our home for Christmas and loving it! I am just loving these crystal garland lights...wouldn't these be lovely just anywhere?

So while looking for accessories to perfect our home, I found these fabulous sculptural rugs fromGandia Blasco. None of these would work for us, but still lovely!
Did you know that they can actually make frozen records? I had no idea this was possible, but isn't the idea very cool? They take a normal record and make a ice mold out of it, then it plays unique sound only for a very short time, up to around 10 minutes. Talk about living and experiencing something original in real time. By Austrian artist Claudia Märzendorfer.
I was anxiously anticipating the tv premier of Pixar's short films last night. So, as soon as we returned home from the OU basketball game, I started watching it on TiVo. I don't know why I was so excited, I have seen all of them before. But I really enjoy them and decided to share some of the enjoyment with you this morning.
Curtis Jones is an artist and was one of my professors. He is so very good at what he does. This just shows how incredible meticulous and precise his art is. These images are comprised solely of these paper cones with various screen-printed patterns. Pretty nifty!
"Test prints are an integral and often surprisingly beautiful and playful part of the hand printed process. They are never ever the same, and therefore true, one-of-a-kind, individual monoprints. Made from varied layers and layers of inks from different print runs to check colors, clean out a messy screen and a dozen other reasons, test prints are spontaneously created and basically, magical"...rather lovely. Seen here.
"in our house we are all about the treats, we’ve been making sweet jack-o-lanterns for years…and no scary costumes either…here’s the thing, life is full of things that can scare you & growing up is wrought with bumps & twists….so for us…its sweets, pumpkins with hearts & cute costumes….we simply just don’t need to be scared to have fun, but that’s just us;)…wishing you lots & lots of treats…"
I don't normally quote other bloggers, but I wholeheartedly agree and it couldn't be said any better.
It is that time of year again when parents play dress up with their own live dolls and their children just have to take it. But it is super cute!!! Just wait and see the adorable things I do to my children.
These are honey jars that I just packaged! They are hand jarred from a local ranch, the Riverdog Ranch. I designed their logo out of the initials RRH and incorporated that logo on the lid. It is part of the bee illustration. Such a fun project! I look forward to designing annual honey labels with each harvest!
I was completely blown away by the simple, elegant beauty of this PAPERography. This is done with just pieces of paper. So stunning!! You can see more here.
So suddenly, before I could really start enjoying fall, we skipped right to winter. Now, I need to get my winter clothes out because it is officially cold. I already went threw all the hot chocolate I had left over from last winter, am taking multiple hot baths to warm myself up, and even broke down and turned on the heater today. Still, this is a pretty fall print...I wish we were enjoying golden leaves here.
Jen Skelly has these really precious screen prints. This is one that I liked, but I really enjoy her exotic bird series...you can click here to see it. So sweet and endearing!
So I have been falling in love with the idea of fall. I found all of these pictures for inspiration in my fall decorating and crafting. Also, Jeff and I will be decorating a pumpkin together with some other MS1's and their wives so, I am looking for a really cool idea!
If you have any thoughts, pictures, or ideas for pumpkin decorating, please let me know!
