This has such a wonderful quality about it. Usually I don't like paintings of birds because usually they are cliche. But this one I like. To see more paintings from this artist, click here.
Yesterday, I officially became enthusiastic about fall. I had been holding out because we had such a perfect and beautiful, honeymoon summer, I didn't want it to end. But now we are sharing our first fall MARRIED!!! And I am excited about that too! It started me thinking about having our first holidays married AND in our new home!!! That about made me burst with excitement!
If you know me, you know how much I like ballet flats. These are simply adorable. I really don't need any more,...but they are fun to look through. To see more click here.
These are amazing and force you to re-think how you define a building. I am showing some of my favorites, but to see many more fabulous designs click HERE.
In lieu of my anticipation for the great state fair of Oklahoma's opening tomorrow, this one-man-show/carnival themed music video seems to be a good topic today. It is overall jolly and pleasant. Please enjoy!
Origami based packaging concepts can be so fun and seem to be a reemerging crave. This was designed by Packlab, a package design studio in Finland. As your popcorn pops, the package unfolds and becomes a cute origami serving bowl!
It seems wrong to to let today pass without remembering the tragedy that occurred eight years ago. We learned the frailty of life. No image or illustration seemed right for this topic. So, I post this picture I took, because it reminds me that in the darkness there is hope.
Today I am celebrating adorable hairpieces. These are absolutely fabulous and under $5 (except the cap)...I know I sound like an advertisement, but none-the-less... I just might have to get me some of these pronto.
Well, Jeff and I are both sick, but I did not want to miss this opportunity to celebrate 9 (like Seasame Street--today's number is NINE!) So, I decided to post nine things I love...not in any order and not to be mistaken for my 9 favorite things. (I hate picking favorites) These are simply the first nine things to pop in my head.
Check out these pictures by Wes Stringer! He is one of my good friends, a picture-taking enthusiast, and very talented. These are from a Flamming Lips concert at Red Rock Canyon. He managed to get on stage for these. You can check out the rest of the pictures he took that night on his blog. Thanks for sharing, Wes!
I am between my excitement that Pixar's art director, Jay Shuster, is coming to town and design fatigue. So, Pixar is on my mind and I needed something to make me smile. Pixar's Boundin' is just the thing and I decided to share!
Pixar's shorts are great...if you haven't seen them all, you really should. (If you haven't seen any of them, let me know and I will remedy that!) I will post some occasionally. For now, enjoy!!
